Treat yourself to an encounter with nature that will awaken your senses and renew your bonds with the natural world. Come join Forest Therapy Guide and University of Illinois Extension Master Naturalist/Master Gardener, Navraaz Kaur Basati, on a sensory journey through the Serenity Winter Flower Show! Each walk will begin with an invitation to take in the flora of the Conservatory with a fresh perspective and will continue on with a sensory walk that will allow each participant the opportunity to experience the plants and the much-needed benefits they provide us during the winter months. We will be exploring different plants with a variety of textures, scents, and visual traits within the warmth and soothing air of the Conservatory. The walk will end with an herbal tea ceremony to refresh the mind and relax the senses. Comfortable clothing and shoes are recommended. Registration is required and closes at 9:00am before the start of the program. Space is limited to accommodate social distancing and masks are required throughout the program, regardless of vaccination status.
