Description

My big guy might need a new home. I am struggling with a lot of different things and feel he deserves better than what I can offer right now. I love him very much and am not in a rush to rehome him, just trying to see if there is a family better suited to his needs. We will keep him and continue to do our best if we do not find a home that will be truly better for him than ours. He is UTD on vaccines, neutered, and microchipped. He is eating Solid Gold Large Breed Puppy food (until 18 months of age per his vet) in a slow feeder bowl. He is housebroken, somewhat crate trained (sleeps in it at night and naps in it during the day, but he's never in the home alone as we have a dog run on the side of the house), and knows some basic commands - comes when called, "sit", "touch" (your hand), "wait", and "under" (goes between legs, he's pretty tall now though so this gets kinda tricky for shorter people). He's probably pushing 90+lbs right now. He is good with other dogs, but plays rough (not aggressive, pretty submissive in nature and does back off if corrected by other dogs). He loves people and was raised from 11 weeks with my two young children (3 and 10), he has also been good with other kids. He is still a puppy and is very excitable, but he is very smart and eager to please. I am asking a small rehoming fee of $250. If you want his enormous crate I'd ask another $75. I bought it used for $100, but it's in good shape with plenty of room for him to grow into. Please let me know what your home is like when inquiring.
