Thank you and we hope to see you at the conference, CSUSB MAPSS [email protected] Also, check us out at our website! csusbpremed.org We are a group of undergraduate students passionate about the advancement in the education of pre-medical and pre-health students, not only in the Inland Empire, but in our surrounding Southern California communities. We call ourselves the Medical and Pre-Health Student Society (MAPSS) at California State University, San Bernardino. We are a collection of officers of various pre-medical and pre-health clubs on our campus. With the growing healthcare disparity crisis and a critical shortage of “culturally sensitive” primary care physicians and healthcare professionals in California, particularly in the Inland Empire, CSU, San Bernardino is an ideal location to bring awareness to future health care professionals. The Pre-Medical & Pre-Health Conference, targets underrepresented students from all colleges and universities in Southern California interested in pursuing a career in healthcare professions. We hope to increase the ethnic diversity of students pursuing a career in health care and encourage awareness of the problems affecting health care policy and health care reform, but most importantly, to increase the knowledge of students applying to medical, graduate, and health science schools. Our overall mission is to create an avenue where on a yearly basis students may network with physicians, healthcare professionals, and medical and graduate schools early on in their undergraduate careers. We believe we can provide an experience that will strengthen that passion for many students to go into the healthcare field and show that they really have the power to realize their goals through higher education. We are happy to answer any questions you may have, feel free to contact us anytime at [email protected]. Please visit our website: http://www.csusbpremed.com. Warm Regards, MAPSS
