Todd Cowart - Todd Cowart is a roots rocking, country singer/songwriter from Jenkins County where he grew up on a farm and later moved to Athens, GA where he has spent over 27 years playing music as a solo artist and lead singer of The Hushpuppies Band. His music combines rural themes with the spirit of Country Music’s past. “Angels Building Bridges”, his latest album, was produced by nationally re-known artist, bassist and producer Michael Steele (John Berry, Randall Bramblett) and features Nashville Recording Artist and Country Music legend Brian Burke (Normaltown Flyers). William Tonks of (MrJordanMrTonks) is a collaboration between longtime Athens musicians, Tommy Jordan and William Tonks. With Tommy on acoustic guitar and banjo and William on dobro and electric guitar, a lot of guitar music gets played. Both share the singing and harmony duties to get the job done in a fun and powerful fashion. Good music and lots of great guitar playing with an interesting melding of their personal experiences and styles. It works. Tonight, though, William performs solo without Tommy. Holman Autry (Brodye Brooks & Casey King) - Holman Autry is a country & southern rock band from Danielsville Ga., with 13 years of touring and 4 albums' worth of music to their credit. Songs in their catalog are as varied and eclectic as the musicians themselves, and range from hard hitting true rock & roll, southern rock, tell-it-like-it-is country, and a little soul: any and all if which are sure to hit home with your ears and your heart. Tonight's show features members Brodye Brooks and Josh Walker with Casey King! Ben Reynolds is a former hog farmer and short-order cook. He performs as a member of Chickasaw Mudd Puppies, Workhorses of the Entertainment Recreational Industry, and sometimes as a solo artist. The Mudd Puppies recently completed an album expected to be released in 2022. Trisha Adams is a third generation musician who grew up playing music with her parents and grandparents, at church, the local pub, in living rooms and back yards, and the occasional sock hop too. She has a sultry alto voice, a little husky, a little folksy, a little bluesy, and is a lot of fun with a natural bent toward the serious side of life. She moved to Athens three years ago, after spending almost a decade out West, playing solo and in different bands all up and down the Rocky Mountain range. She writes a lot of her own music, prefers live performances and is still establishing a collection of studio work. She has played festivals, house shows, small theaters, oprys, markets, food truck rallies, breweries, wineries, personal parties, fundraisers, private events, and has been hired multiple times by the city of Alpharetta and Duluth to play their public community events. This is her first foray into the Athens music scene.
