Installer/ Service Tech: Each person assuming the responsibilities of this position must have good customer service skills, able to represent our company’s good reputation and perform all of the duties listed below in a safe & timely manner. These duties include, but are not limited to the: Essential Job Functions 1. OHD New installation - Understand drawings, specs & installation of Division 08: Overhead Doors. Manufactures (Cornell, Cookson, Clopay, Wayne Dalton, Raynor, Hormann Flexon, Renlita, Mobile Flex, ect) 2. Chute New installation - Understand drawings, specs & installation of Division 14: Internal Trash Chutes – Manufactures (Wilkinson Hi-Rise, Chutes International, Chute Source, ect) 3. OHD and Chute Service on all manufactures 4. Experienced in all hand tools, basic power tools & able to read a tape measure. 5. Must have the ability to identify & communicate any pertinent issues that may affect installation with general contractors site representatives. 6. Familiar with all site safety. 7. Ability to lift & maneuver awkward shaped heavy material. 8. Ability to be on call and work afterhours Expectations: Motived self-starter for a full-time position. Ability to clearly communicate, in all forms. Must have a smart phone, willing to install & train on company scheduling app. Must be able to provide valid driver’s license, current driving record, auto insurance & able to pass a background &/or drug test. Hourly position depends on experience. Individual will receive training in company procedures & Installation. PPE is required including jeans, boots, safety vest, hard-hat, safety glasses & gloves. Position Goals: To become a Lead Installer & willing to become a union member. Provide support to Project Management & Dispatch. Recognize building codes & must be comfortable on construction sites for layout, field measure & installation.
