Join the Hernando County Environmentally Sensitive Lands Program in a clean up workday event at Peck Sink Preserve! Join the Hernando County Environmentally Sensitive Lands Program, Tidal Brewing and Roots Creative Company in a clean up workday event at Peck Sink Preserve! Together we will be removing trash and debris from the property and edges of the sink to prevent contamination of our aquifer. Removal of trash across the property will assist not only in the beautification of the preserve but also increase the functionality of the ecosystem for plants and wildlife communities. All trash will be brought back to the check in area. This event is part of the recent "Tide For a Cause" project between the three organizations to help raise awareness of the County's Preserves and a special limited release beer will be brewed by Tidal Brewing in honor or Peck Sink. When: January 29, 2022 Time: 9:00 am until 1:00 pm. Join us when you can! Check In: Peck Sink Preserve (main gated entrance on Wiscon Rd, Proceed to directed parking area) 18279 Wiscon Rd, Brooksville, FL 34601 What to Bring: Wear close toed shoes and long pants. If you have utility gloves please bring them as well. What's Provided: Trash bags, water and snacks will be provided.
