Help us improve by giving us your feedback Help us improve by giving us your feedback Published on December 21, 2021 In observance of the Christmas Day holiday, the City of Miami Department of Solid Waste will be closed on Friday, December 24. No garbage, bulky trash or recycling services will be provided until the department resumes its normal operations on Monday, December 27.   Residents who are scheduled to receive recycling service on Friday, December 24 are being provided an alternate recycling pickup day of Wednesday, December 22. Please see recycling calendars for more information.   Additionally, the Mini Dump Facility, located on 1290 N.W. 20 Street, will be closed on Friday, December 24.   City of Miami residents are reminded to hold their garbage and bulky trash until the next pickup day on their schedule.
