Please Help Us Meet the Peak House Heritage Center Goal...In spring of 2021, the Directors of the Peak House Heritage Center hired legendary stoneworker, Bill Doherty from Westwood, an 87-year-old master of stone, to repair an integral part of Peak House history—the quiet, gray fieldstone walls that had witnessed the lives, deaths and sojourns of those who resided in the iconic building. Bill Doherty's work was part of the development of our exterior galleries, open for exploration by the community all year long. The next phase of our work is to create visitor-centered exhibits for both adults and children opening in May 2022. You'll explore selected artifacts in imaginative, rotating, interactive exhibits. We can't wait to inspire you to learn about this historic house, the events that occurred here, and the diverse residents who shaped its legacy. You might even be able to discover some of the secrets that the Peak House Heritage Center stone walls are waiting to share. Please help us in reaching our goal of raising $22,500 by December 31, 2021, to develop interactive exhibits that will delight visitors of all ages and bring cultural and financial benefit to the Town of Medfield.
