Does anyone know someone affordable who does car bodywork on the side for a good price? My issue is small, but I'm sure someone could do what I call a "makeshift" repair that would be just fine. Someone lightly scraped the lower part of my back right bumper (my car is new - only 6 months old). It's what I describe as a "smear scrape." Compound will not get it out as I tried that already. I'm pretty sure someone could lightly buff the area and then spray my paint color on the affected areas while covering the immediate area of the car to protect that and it would look pretty good. I don't need a 3-step paint process like at a formal body shop. I tried to use touch-up paint a little, but that looks bad on this type of issue. If I had the tools & paint, I'd try to do it myself, but I don't. If you know someone, or if you are someone who does things like this, please let me know.
