Press release from the City of Spokane: 2021-12-22 Spokane Police Department is asking the public's help in locating an elderly male with Alzheimer's who went missing last night from the 5 mile area. On 12/22/2021, at 932 A.M. Officers responded to the 2200 block of W. Strong Rd, City of Spokane for a report of a missing person. Family advised their father, identified as 79 year old Robert Bachman was last seen last night at his address on Strong Rd.  Family states that Robert suffers from Alzheimer's and was talking about an old cabin they used to own years ago in Coolin Idaho.  Family fears that Robert might be trying to get to the cabin. Robert also doesn't have his cell phone with him. Robert is white male, 5-10, weighs about 160 pounds with white hair and hazel eyes.  Robert was last seeing wearing a hat with a light gray jacket. Robert is also driving a blue 2019 Subaru Crosstrek, Washington License plate BOE8124. Around 8PM last night, Robert was spotted in the area of Cooper and Mt. Spokane Dr. When contacted by a citizen, Robert stated he was lost and was looking for his cabin. After talking to the citizen, Robert drove off and hasn't been located since.
