High: 40 Low: 32. Here are the top three stories in Spokane today: A post-Christmas shift in the weather pattern is set to bring about a serious drop in temperatures to the entire Inland Northwest. Forecast models suggest the Inland Northwest could see temperatures fall to lows not seen in years. That includes Spokane and Coeur d'Alene where mild weather has plagued recent winters. (KREM.com) The Spokane Police Department needs your help finding a man who is facing domestic violence charges. Officers said it started just before noon when they got calls about a woman in distress at an apartment near Grant Park. Officers said when they found her they took her to the hospital to be treated for serious, but non-life-threatening, injuries.(KXLY Spokane)The city of Spokane has solved the debate between partners about when to take down the Christmas tree. The city is offering free curbside pickup of Christmas trees between Dec. 27 and Jan. 7 along with its regularly scheduled pickup of solid waste and recycling.
