Man Charged With Murder In Orange Tire Shop Shooting Case: Police

ORANGE, CT — A New Haven man was charged with murder Tuesday in connection to a fatal shooting that occurred last year at a Town Fair Tire in Orange, according to police. In a Facebook post, police said they served Terrance Allen, 24, formerly of New Haven, an arrest warrant charging him with murder, as well as tampering with/fabricating physical evidence and criminal possession of a firearm. Allen's bond was set at $1 million. He remains in the custody of the Connecticut Department of Correction, where he has been since last year. Police identified Allen as a suspect in the shooting last year. According to police, Allen is accused of fatally shooting Joshwua Figueroa, 27, of New Haven, at the 63 Boston Post Road business around 8:50 a.m. on Dec. 26. Allen was working as an employee of Town Fair Tire at the time of the shooting, authorities said.
