BRIDGEPORT, CT — A bank robbery suspect carjacked a Lyft's driver's vehicle and crashed, leading to two schools being placed in a lock-in/ lock-out mode Tuesday in Bridgeport, according to police. Police received several calls around 10:30 a.m. regarding a possible robbery at the Webster Bank on Main Street. The suspect reportedly left the bank and carjacked a Lyft vehicle and then caused an accident on Thorme Street, according to police. Both Madison and Blackham schools were placed in a lock-in/ lock-out while police investigated. School resource officers were at the scene at both schools, according to police.
