PRINCETON, NJ – The Princeton Police Department is investigating a bomb threat made to Riverside Elementary School and has increased its presence in the area.
Late on Monday evening, New Jersey State Police received an anonymous tip about a potential bomb threat to Riverside Elementary School, prompting a response from local law enforcement, Princeton Police said in a statement.
Officers searched the school grounds and building with a K-9 unit, police said. Police have currently deemed the threat non-credible.
"This threat has been thoroughly investigated and found not to be credible however we have increased police presence in the area," authorities said.
