PRINCETON, NJ – The Princeton Police Department is investigating a bomb threat made to Riverside Elementary School and has increased its presence in the area. Late on Monday evening, New Jersey State Police received an anonymous tip about a potential bomb threat to Riverside Elementary School, prompting a response from local law enforcement, Princeton Police said in a statement. Officers searched the school grounds and building with a K-9 unit, police said. Police have currently deemed the threat non-credible. "This threat has been thoroughly investigated and found not to be credible however we have increased police presence in the area," authorities said. This comes after weeks of threats and rumors against New Jersey schools, including some in neighboring Lawrenceville, Hightstown, and Ewing.
