Here are the top three stories in Franklin today: GraceWorks served over 1600 children and 600 families at Manger and Christmas programs. They held several sessions where families were invited to "shop" for gifts for their children at Franklin First United Methodist Church. The gifts were free, though some families chose to give a "love offering." (williamsonherald.com)Patrick Cassidy is bringing production to life in Franklin. He is directing "It's A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play" at The Factory's Jamison Theater. The show begins today at 7 p.m. through Christmas Eve. (News4)A Franklin Police officer helped get residents to safety during a fire on Monday morning. Alan Yates banged on windows and informed residents their house was on fire and they needed to get out. Thanks to Yates' actions, the firefighters were able to get there quickly and extinguish the fire.
