Overview description:
Personal assistants perform secretarial work and provide manager with day-to-day administrative support. Their duties include answering phone calls and managing correspondence, scheduling appointments, and making travel arrangements. Coordinating calendar appointments, managing communications, and planning events, as necessary. Must be able to drive and have a car. Part-time position that could be full-time in the future.
Personal Assistant Responsibilities:
* Reporting to Manager and performing secretarial and administrative duties.
* Typing, formatting, and editing emails, reports, documents or any related documents.
* Entering data, maintaining databases, and keeping records.
* Liaising with internal departments, answering calls, and making travel arrangements.
* Managing internal and external correspondence on behalf of manager.
* Scheduling appointments, maintaining an events calendar, and sending reminders.
* Copying, scanning documents, as well as taking notes.
* Ordering supplies and replacements, as well as managing mail and courier services.
* Helping organize and maintain office common areas.
