PHILADELPHIA, PA — Days after both the Eagles and the Sixers had to reschedule their Sunday matchup, the Flyers were also impacted by the renewed spread of the virus.
The Flyers Tuesday night matchup against the Washington Capitals was postponed indefinitely, the NHL announced.
The postponement is due to COVID-19 cases on the Capitals, not the Flyers. Similarly, it was the Eagles' opponent, Washington, which forced the delay of Sunday's matchup.
The 76ers have also seen a chunk of their roster hit the COVID-19 reserve list, which forced them to postpone their own game Sunday night against the New Orleans Pelicans.
A makeup date for Tuesday's game has not been set.
