Bicyclist Fatally Hit On Pacific Coast Highway

MALIBU, CA — A bicyclist was fatally hit by a vehicle on State Route 1 (Pacific Coast Highway) Tuesday evening, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, Lost Hills station. The accident was reported around 4:45 p.m. Tuesday at PCH and Big Rock Drive. The bicyclist was pronounced dead on the scene, according to the sheriff's department. The motorist remained on the scene and complied with officers, authorities said. PCH was closed in both directions following the accident. Authorities were still on the scene as of 7:22 p.m. Tuesday, according to the sheriff's department.
