Description
Press release from the Jackson Hinds Library System:
Dec 22, 2021
Effective January 1st, 2022, all online card registrations will expire in seven (7) days for those who do not apply for a physical library card.
If a registrant applies for an online library card and does not apply for a physical library card within seven days, the online card will be disabled.
Online card applicants need to come to any of our library branches to apply for a regular library card in order to use resources from our library system. Please remember to bring your proof of residence. If you live outside of Hinds County, a $25 annual non-resident fee is required.
For more information about our physical library cards, go to jhlibrary.org/librarycards. If you wish, you can also go to this page to download and complete a library card application in advance.
