Of those, more than 220 were charged with assaulting or impeding law enforcement. Earlier this year, two Illinois residents, a 53-year-old woman from Naperville and a 66-year-old man from Posen, were linked to the Capitol insurrection and charged with disorderly and disruptive conduct, among other things, after the FBI was alerted of social media posts, authorities said. A couple from Crest Hill were also arrested and charged with several misdemeanors in July after the FBI received an anonymous tip of their involvement.
