Press release from the Shelby County Government: December 21, 2021 In observance of the upcoming holidays, Shelby County offices will operate on a modified schedule in observance of the holidays. The Property Tax Office will be closed on Thursday, December 23rd but will be open every-day the following week from Monday December 27 through Friday, December 31 as well as Monday January 3rd to assist with property tax matters. All other County Offices will be closed on Christmas Eve, Friday, December 24 & Monday, December 27 in observance of Christmas Day. Similarly, all other County Offices will be closed on New Year's Eve, Friday, December 31 and Monday, January 3 in observance of New Year's Day.
