Hello. My name is Samantha and I am reaching out to the general public asking for help. I have 3 smart beautiful children that are going to be sad come Christmas morning. This last year has been the hardest year of my life yet. After choosing to leave a bad relationship, I had to start from nothing again. It has been harder than I ever expected it to be. I lost my job a few months ago after COVID had slowed business tremendously causing them to shut the door. A month ago, I lost my father unexpectedly, at just 51 years old. The hardest thing I have had to accept. He was the only person who was there for me in these hard times. While this was going on, I was planning to sign up for toys4tots, but I missed the cut off date due to my dad passing. I reached out hoping they would make a acceptation, without any luck. I feel guilty about missing this deadline, it is not my children's fault. I am heart broke to think they may not get any girts this year or that we may not be able to attend our other family Christmas. I have transportation, no money for the gas I need tho. I know you don't know me, or my children, so it is hard for me to even ask anyone for anything. But I am at a loss with where to turn next. Please find it within yourself to help a mother in need this Christmas Season. I would forever be grateful and you would have a permanent space in my heart. Please share if you would like.
