Position Summary Daily duties are assigned based on the level at entry. Your capabilities and previous experience working in the shredding industry determine your entry-level. (?) The primary purpose of the Warehouse Helper is to provide support for all parts of the warehouse including: TIER 1. warehouse cleaning (dust, vacuum, windows, trash disposal, clean bathrooms. etc.). Clean, move, and stack bins. Load vertical baler, operate manual floor jack, operate blower, clean and lubricate shredder blades, load and operate compactor. TIER 2. All Tier 1 responsibilities, operate tipper, operate vertical baler (Cardboard), and operate Hard drive crusher. TIER 3. All Tier 1&2 responsibilities, operate shredder, paper baler, vertical baler (Cardboard), tie bales, and operate grinder. TIER 4. All Tier 1,2, & 3 responsibilities and service Representative helper ALL Tiers. Follows safety guidelines when carrying out cleaning tasks; places signs nearby to alert others that the floors may be wet or slippery Ensures that solvents and chemical cleaners are used according to safety regulations and guidelines Uses appropriate customer and product specifications to assemble and fabricate parts and engines for cleaning equipment; notifies appropriate personnel of any faults that occur Completes assigned tasks as required Continues development of personal and professional skills and establishes and participates in industry and other professional networks to ensure awareness of regulatory and other trends that may affect the business or direction of the company’s initiatives, policies, and programs Works closely with the senior management team, project managers, other key personnel, and contacts for seamless integration of responsibilities and functions Consistently meets and/or exceeds productivity goals; completes assignments promptly; meets competing deadlines; adheres to contractual requirements All other duties as assigned for the successful execution and/or completion of various projects whether specifically assigned
