Description
I just bought my first condo and aquariums are not allowed in the property. :-(
I'm looking for a seasoned fish hobbyist or someone who won't kill my babies... You will need to transport this yourself from my home to yours. you'll need many buckets and to preserve the beneficial bacteria in the tank i.e. the water, gravel, plants, rocks, filter media, etc to keep the ammonia level from spiking, etc. when you get it into your new home.
Here's what you'll be adopting: A 4-year-old VERY INTELLIGENT and trained blood parrot fish! I've had her since she was young and tiny. She sees her owner (me), plays (follows your finger), and comes up to the water for food (or searches for sinking food). She also has MANY playmates that she isn't supposed to be tanked with but she gets along fine with because she's been tanked with them since birth. You'll also have in the tank: an algae-eating loach, an angelfish, 3 danios (2 are pink!) a glo-fish barb, a danio-like fish I don-t remember the name of but it's small, and 5 mollies of assorted colors which are very playful.
Check out the pics. I'm including EVERYTHING. even the food, the tank stands the bucket, the siphon, etc. you'll be all set. you just need more buckets for transport. If you'd like to have a beautiful aquarium in your home and this interests you, let me know! This blood parrot is very special! and so are her roommates!
