Rent is $437 per month, includes all utilities/electric/water/trash etc., 24 hour accessibility however no live in, artist membership includes exhibition opportunities and educational workshops. Studio is located on lower level with excellent access to patio and visitor staircase. There are no direct windows in this studio and all questionable toxic material usage must be done outside. Artist is encouraged to have studio open (in a post Covid-19 environment) for monthly 2nd Friday Art Walk which serves hundreds of visitors. Located on Fourth Street, our 40,000 square-foot building houses 4 galleries, 27 art studios, restaurant, jewelers guild, frame shop, ceramic center, other arts organizations, 17 affordable apartmentsand more. We feature new exhibits, events, and classes. We're located in the heart of the Downtown San Rafael Art District (DSRAD). In this lively neighborhood you'll also find an array of independently owned boutiques, restaurants and cafés, along with serval arts and entertainment offerings. Access is easy from the Golden Gate and Richmond/San Rafael bridges. We're just blocks away from Highway 101, connecting to wine country, and the public transportation hub including SMART train.
