TACTICAL WORK Quickly and efficiently clean sidewalks Push sidewalks edge to edge, grass visible and curbside open Push curbs 5 feet out if lot has not been plowed, or to the nearest snow storage location if it has already been plowed Spread ice melt at the demonstrated application rate Clean dumpster corrals of snow Use various equipment, such as 4-wheeler or SSV, to ensure the route is complete to company standards Willingness to work on any company crew (BSS prefers and provides opportunities for year-round employment) MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Age 16 or older Flexible schedule, including early morning Legal, valid, unrestricted, driver's license, with no DUIs in the past 3 years or multiple infractions PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS and WORKING CONDITIONS (Essential and Frequent) Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing for long periods of time, running and walking, sitting, pushing, pulling Lifting and raising objects up to 50 pounds from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position-to-position, to a considerable degree and requires substantial use of upper extremities and back muscles Fingering, grasping, feeling and repetitive motion Talking and hearing Subject to changing environmental conditions
