Position Summary: Work involves finishing concrete and related materials in a construction site environment. Finish concrete surfaces of floors, walls, sidewalks, curbs, gutters and set forms and screeds for all of the above; assist in preparation and grading for placing and removal of old concrete; operate toweling machines, grinders; work performed on both large and small buildings. Requirements: -Completion of high school and over two years of experience in concrete finishing including experience as an equipment operator - Possess an American Concrete Institute (ACI) Concrete Flatwork Technician certification; or any equivalent combination of training and experience. -Physical ability to stand, stoop, and bend. -Must be able to load and unload equipment and lift a maximum of 75 pounds. -Requires ability to understand oral and written instructions. - Must be able to operate various types of construction equipment. -Requires normal hearing, peripheral and night vision, and depth perception to safely work in areas with high traffic volume. -Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions, night or day, including extreme heat or cold and under emergency conditions. -Must be able to work long shifts and some weekends. -Must possess a valid Driver's License.
