We are looking for Diesel Mechanics to join our team! You will be responsible for repairing class 8 Semi Trucks and Trailers We offer: Very good pay depending on experience up to $40/hour. You can grow very fast in our company, if you are hard working, motivated and willing to learn new things. 1099 or W-2 Available 2 Weeks paid vacation after 6 months with the company Full Time position: 8am to 6pm Monday through Friday For more info call Julian at: 847-999-4960 or Send your resume to: info @ excel-truckcenter.com Responsibilities: • Performing repairs and preventative maintenance on diesel semi-trucks and trailers • Follow up with work progress. • Diagnoses malfunctions and performs vehicle repairs (e.g. adjust/test steering, electrical, cooling, lubricating, braking systems, drive trains, suspensions, power steering units, clutches, transmissions and oil, temperature, gas regulating components, adjust/test/rebuild engines etc.) • Identifies and reports any additional maintenance and/or repairs found necessary in conducting assigned repairs and maintenance including repairs and maintenance required to be performed by Technicians with a higher qualification level. • Ability to makes decisions promptly. • Effectively communicates with others. Qualifications: • Some previous experience as a diesel mechanic • Technical knowledge of major vehicle systems and diesel equipment is required • Knowledge of shop equipment and tools • Deadline and detail-oriented • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment • ASE Certification desirable but not required Company Description Excel Truck Center in East Dundee is a leading most reliable Semi-Truck and Trailer Repair facility in Chicago Area.
