Hey good people! I'm Drew and I'm seeking musicians to form a band playing originals and covers in the jamband, psychedelic rock, blues, jazz vein. Good vocalists, Horns, Keys, Guitars, Drums, Aux percussion - Latin percussion, fiddle/violin,.... open to exploring other instruments. I have several originals and continue to write and create more. Been around the KC scene and played regional shows in the past. Some good gig connections. Just a guy with a lot of music in his head looking for some great talent to solidify a working project with a goal of quality recording and performance. I can appreciate and listen to a wide range of musical interests. I presently do a good amount of jammy stuff you can have fun soloing over because I'm usually mixing with others at jam night who really don't know my originals, or the changes, so it makes it really interesting to hear where it goes when others pull you in their musical direction. Lots of improvisation at times with a little structure. But I'm really wanting to find people to make things solid. I do have some guys with whom I have been currently jammin once per month when we host an open jam session.
