This group home is looking for a direct support professional (Caregiver), the facility has 3 residents, with two need full assist and another one a partial assist. The initial job duties the Employee will be expected to perform will be the following: •Assisting with personal care and hygiene, which may include bathroom functions, bathing, grooming, dressing, and eating. •Following a prescribed healthcare plan, which may include assisting with exercise and administering medication. •Ensuring the client’s home is organized according to their needs and that safety measures are in place. You may also be expected to assist with some light housework. •Providing emotional support and encouragement to perform necessary tasks. •Providing mobility assistance may be required, for example helping the client in and out of bed, a chair, or a wheelchair, with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside •Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able) •Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own •Report any unusual incidents •Help residents perform activities, gardening, entertain/help play different games, taking them a walk, etc. Compensation & benefitsincludes $17.00 an hour, possibility for over time hours at the rate of 1.5, Required documentation Covid-19 vaccination is required! CPR & First Aid certificate, OIS certificate and Tier -1 & Tier-2 competency completion preferred or need to complete them within 2 month of the hiring date.
