We adopted Bailey from the pound. She is a great dog with the family and kids. She lets the kids walk her on a leash and is really wonderful with them. She wants to be wherever you are, does not run off, and comes running when she's called. Shes really great in those areas.. However she kills small farm animals (ducks, and probably other birds). She is also overprotective when strangers come over. When anyone else comes over, she barks consistently and generally acts terrified. Sadly, we can not keep her for these reasons. She was completely terrified at the pound and would barely move a muscle and barely ate. I don't want to return her to the pound but we also can't keep her. She would be great at a home that doesn't have many visitors and wants a protective dog that will stay by your side. You could also keep her contained while you have visitors. Her home should not have any small livestock. I don't know how she is with cats. She is great with our other dogs and LOVES to play with them. She is a really good dog aside from her issues. She is spayed and microchips and utd on all shots. She needs heartworm medication monthly and I have a 5 month supply that will go with her. $50 rehome fee.
