Job description Duties of a Grounds Maintenance Technician Responsibilities associated with trash collection, big bulk trash items, clean/power wash trash compactor rooms Removes trash and debris from public areas, empty the trash chute on each building and disposing the trash in the small 6y, 8y and 2-yard cans Ensures grounds maintenance equipment is operational Interior building maintenance common areas Receive and store maintenance order of supplies Responsible for trash out of vacant units, making sure, after residents move out, go to the apartments and dispose all trash, bilk items left behind Move appliances and/or other materials to apartments as needed Experience of Grounds Maintenance Technician: At least two years of experience in grounds keeping is a plus, but not required Physical Demands of Grounds Maintenance Technician: Frequent lifting of objects over 100 pounds, crawling or crouching in restricted areas.
