Lawn / Pest Control Tech $10 - $15 hr The lawn care technician’s main responsibility is to manage the lawns. The lawn care technician position requires attention to detail and ability to communicate any issues or concerns to the supervisor. The lawn care technician must also be in constant contact with the office concerning the condition of the lawn care equipment. A daily treatment schedule is set and the lawn care technician is responsible for completing the schedule in a timely manner. Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Self-motivated Works well independently as well as with others. Ability to manage time so that the daily schedule is done in an efficient manner. Work in a variety of weather conditions Ensure a safe working environment (equipment functioning properly, equipment securely stored and tied down during transportation, appropriate PPE is being used), Understand horticulture schedule as it pertains to treatments. Able to do basic diagnosis of problems that arise with lawn equipment and backpack sprayers, and able to report problems to the supervisor. Qualifications: Valid driver's license and clean driving record Attention to detail and thorough work habits Able to lift 80 pounds, carry full backpacks of product, kneel or stand for long periods of time.
