Description

I've become a foster for a non-profit cat rescue that is in DESPERATE need of funds... Adelaide needs hip surgery by Monday, Dec 27th. Time is running out for this sweet girl. The surgery will cost $4,000. Here is what the rescue has wrote to their fb page Miracle needed for Noel, Noel aka Adelaide needs surgery Monday, Dec 27th...She was rescued in Queens. She was dumped there because she was once a housecat. She was brought to our Vet and vaccinated, tested, bloodwork etc. Then we found her a foster home. Within a few days she was rushed to the foster's vet because Noel was having trouble defecating. X-rays were taken and she was considerably constipated. She had to stay at the hospital for the night and enemas were given. The hospital bill was $2000. We did not have time to raise it, we paid in full because that was needed in order for her to stay there. X-rays were taken after the enemas and discovered she had a fractured hip and pelvis. Probably got hit by a car when dumped somewhere she didn't know. So with that said, we had to bring her to our Vet Surgeon who said that she needs surgery to fix the area....Spiros Spiro is in concert with alleykattz to raise funds...this surgery needs to be done to save her. She is starting to have trouble again....the surgery is $4000....$1700 has been raised by Spiros.....I know it is the holiday...I know everyone is tapped and we are forever grateful for all the donors that have contributed to them...any amount is appreciated to help...we do not have much time and if she is too constipated the surgery may be earlier than monday so we need to have the funds available. Please consider donating any amount to help our senior girl Noel. We have to give her a chance and Dr. Lesser will do his best to fix her....Thank you FB friends...let us give Noel this holiday miracle....thank you... Please donate to Venmo @IvaAlleyKattz or email reply to this posting to donate directly to the organization or the vet office. Thank you so much for any help and Happy Holidays to you and your family!
