Vocalist/Guitar player and Drummer looking for Bass player in mid twenties - thirties for an established indie/alternative rock band based in Dearborn. We've recently lost our bass player, have been together two years, and have played throughout Detroit (the Sanctuary, The New Dodge Lounge, The Blind Pig, etc). We are looking to secure larger gigs, potentially tour regionally, and record more tracks in a professional studio setting. We can provide professionally recorded review tracks for serious candidates upon request. Needs: -Weekend availability for shows -Weekday evening availability for practice at least once per week -Their own equipment -Willingness to work -Learn old material and write new material, their own bass parts -Own transportation Wants: -Someone who can sing and play at the same time to provide backing vocals, harmonies -Someone with good stage presence -Someone open minded and flexible when it comes to embracing different musical styles -Multi-instrumentalist (Fiddle, flute, keyboard, brass, winds, saxophone, sampler) We are looking forward to hearing from you!
