Maintenance and Repair Technician Job Overview: Under the general direction of the Production Manager, the Maintenance and Repair Technician will repair, maintain, and operate (on occasion) all the equipment within the mill to ensure maximum productivity, quality, and safety while supporting the policies, goals and objectives of the company. Responsibilities • Daily oiling and lubing of machinery • Maintaining correct oil levels in all plant hydraulic units • Cleaning and maintaining compressor room • Troubleshoot, dismantle, and reassemble equipment as needed for repair • Work with a range of tools • Operate a forklift • Forklift maintenance – blow out filters, check oil and water levels daily • Maintain a clean and safe work area • Follow directions and effectively communicate with all levels of plant personnel Qualifications and Education Requirements • High School diploma/GED • Experience with hand and power tools • Eagerness and willingness to learn • Efficient time-management skills • Attention to details • Team player
