JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Wire Dept. Team Member – 2nd Shift Department: Warehouse Reports To: Wire Dept. Supervisor FLSA Status: Non-Exempt: Hourly Position Summary: The Wire Aisle Team Member is responsible for processing wire orders accurately and in a timely manner. Orders are cut via Reel Power Wire Machines and various coil machines. The Wire Aisle Team Member takes direction from the Wire Dept. Supervisor to fulfill the orders; and works with other team members to process Cut Wire Orders. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Ensure Orders are Cut from the proper Lot # of Wire, notate on Ticket if different Lot used. • Maintain accurate locations for wire • Maintain accurate quantities and lots for wire • Maintain accurate quantities and locations for pulling heads • Read & Interpret Cut Wire Work Orders (Tickets) o Understand the different types of wire and assets (reels) used on machines • Strip Wire Jackets off Remnant Wire for Scrap Process • Maintain wire cutting equipment & tools • Maintain cleanliness of the wire aisle • Assist with loading with large wire orders • Assist other warehouse teams as time and workload allows (shipping, receiving & DTS) • Shift Hours: 1pm – 9:30pm (OT when necessary) (Mon – Friday, & Occasional Saturdays) o Initial Training Hours will be earlier (10am-6:30pm) Preferred Experience/Qualifications: • Prior machine operator experience • Ability to use Fork-Lift (Stand up and Sit Down) • Spanish/Bilingual • Prior Inventory & Warehouse Experience • Experience Moving Straight Trucks (Not Required) The above job description is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of duties and standards of the position.
