Celebrating the launch of Bitcoin on its 13th Birthday “The Times 03/Jan/2009 Chancellor on brink of second bailout for banks.” Thirteen years ago to this day Bitcoin was born when the Genesis block was mined by Satoshi. We are meeting on the birthday of bitcoin to celebrate its launch, but also to raise a glass to Satoshi who created the first open and permissionless monetary system in human history. Come join Bitcoiners from the PNW as we celebrate with food and beverage. A full buffet-style dinner will be served. Beer, wine, and cider will be available for purchase. The event will take place at ENSO Winery in Portland, Oregon. All money for the event goes to paying for the private dining location and food that will be provided.
