Description

Critical Race Theory - How did a methodology taught in law school make its way into protests at school board meetings across the country? We are kicking off RACE TALKS 12th year of programming with our January in-person forum at McMenamins Kennedy School Gym. How did Critical Race Theory go from being a methodology taught in law school to being protested at school board meetings? How did it become so politicized? How should race be taught in schools? What does the Oregon Department of Education say about Critical Race Theory? Join us as we bring together experts to look at the evolution of Critical Race Theory and how it is impacting Oregon schools.
