Friends of the South Harwich Meetinghouse, Inc. present “Quartett Giocosa” ~ the 2nd of our “Masterpieces at the Meetinghouse” series. Quartett Giocosa featuring Heather Goodchild Wade, violin ~ Irina Fainkichen, violin Irina Naryshkova, viola ~ Elizabeth Schultze, cello MASTERPIECES at the MEETINGHOUSE On Sunday, February 13th, at 3:00 pm, Quartett Giocosa will present "Opera for String Quartet." This program is dedicated to quartet music written by composers famous for their operas. The program features Hugo Wolf's Italian Serenade, Puccini's Elegy, and Verdi's String Quartet. Giocosa means joy! Quartett Giocosa lives up to their name and reputation by bringing exuberance, passion, and vibrancy to the stage with every performance. Now in their 4th season together, QG is enjoying being back in the concert hall playing live music!
