Hear the first hand account from police officer Matt Banes, one of the first SWAT operators on scene during the ambush of Dallas
Officer Matt Banes was assigned to the SWAT unit during July of 2016, and responded to the shooting calls in Downtown Dallas. He was one of the first SWAT operators on scene, and quickly started in on the manhunt for the man that murdered five police officers, and was bent on killing even more. Come hear the first hand account of how they tracked him down, shot it out, and trapped him in a hallway, before ending the threat in a way never before used by American law enforcement.
This is the opportunity to hear this story in a way that you never have before, by a man who was the boots on the ground and the rifle in the hall on that fateful night.
This breakfast is also a chance to help support the families of fallen officers, as the proceeds will go to the Dallas chapter of the Brotherhood for the Fallen.
This will also be an opportunity to tour the Texas Gun Ranch and their facilities, and get the first eyes on the course and auction items for the upcoming Fourth Annual Dallas Five Sporting Clay Shoot on March 12.
