Please join us for Ministry for the Body, a smaller, more interactive event with Dr. Timothy Tennent, immediately following the Dean's Forum The Pastors' Forum from Gordon-Conwell Institute is co-hosted by the Shoemaker Center for Church Renewal and the Pierce Center for Disciple Building. Registration costs $30, and includes a complimentary copy of Dr. Tennent's For the Body: Recovering a Theology of Gender, Sexuality, and the Human Body. The Pastors' Forum will take place in Alumni Hall in the Kerr Building at the Hamilton campus of the Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Attendees who plan to attend in-person at the Hamilton campus will need to register for both events separately. (There is a separate registration for the Dean's Forum. ABOUT THE SPEAKER Dr. Timothy C. Tennent has served as President of Asbury Theological Seminary since July 2009. Prior to his coming to Asbury Seminary, Dr. Tennent was the Professor of World Missions and Indian Studies at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary where he served since 1998. Ordained in the United Methodist Church in 1984, he has pastored churches in Georgia, and in several of the largest churches in New England. He is a frequent conference speaker around the country and throughout the world, including numerous countries in Asia, Africa and Europe. Dr. Tennent is the author of numerous books and articles. His books include, Building Christianity on Indian Foundations (ISPCK), Christianity at the Religious Roundtable (Baker Academic), Theology in the Context of World Christianity (Zondervan) and Invitation to World Missions: A Trinitarian Missiology for the 21st Century (Kregel Academic). Dr. Tennent and his wife, Julie, have two children, Jonathan and Bethany.
