RECHARGE, RESTORE, RESIST! All San Diego racial justice organizers (and loved ones) welcome! Relationship building + tacos? Yes, please! Organizers of RiseUp San Diego came together in Dec. 2020 to keep each other informed of important racial justice work happening throughout the county. We wanted to support each other's work, collaborate, learn and replicate successes. The San Diego County Organizers Monthly MeetUp (aka RiseUp)has become a home place for racial justice healers and warriors to re-energize, connect and learn with each other. It has been taking place on the first Thursdays of the month at 7pm on Zoom. January 2022 marks one year of San Diego organizers coming together each month to co-create a network of support and inspiration. We're starting the year off in person* with food, mingling and FUN. We need and deserve joyful connection with one another! Our space is for healing. Our space is for trauma informed practices. Our space is for connection. Our space is for building community power.
