It's National Bird Day. Wear some bird themed clothes, and put on your dancing shoes. Music, lame humor, and a lot of fun. Admission is free, The Sophisticats will provide the music, Mother Nature and The Beach will supply the atmosphere. The Sunrise Sands Hotel will have lunches and drinks available for purchase. The Sophisticats have been featured in Indian River Magazine's "The Best Of The Treasure Coast" and in "Who's Who In Entertainment". The festivities will be held at the Sunrise Sand Beach Resort is where Seaway Drive meets the Atlantic Ocean. It's outdoors, under a huge canvas cover, so you can sit in the sun or the shade. It's the perfect way to spend Wednesday Afternoons (Hump Day) from 1:00 to 4:00 PM across the dune from the ocean, just south of Jetty Park.
