Description
We have a sweet 3-4 year old male mixed Labrador/Blue Heeler that my company rescued less than 2 months ago. We did find him a wonderful home at one point, but learned that he does not do great with other dogs that are dominant and was returned to us. He's been great around other dogs thus far, but is in the midst of figuring himself out; he was locked in a kennel most of his days.
I cannot guarantee anything about him as I do not know enough about his past, but here are a few things that have been observed about him over the last couple of months:
*He is chipped, but his shots are most likely not up to date.
*He's neutered.
*He barks alot.
*He growls for no reason; just to make noise.
*He whines...
*He has a very sensitive stomach -(gets gassy when you feed him certain things)
*He walks up to strangers and asks to be petted.
*Hasn't had any indoor accidents (He gently pulls on my sleeve and tries to drag me to the door when he wants to go outside).
*He follows commands and does well without a leash (not that it's recommended, but he will not run away).
*He loves bread!
*His current best friend is a chihuahua.
Everyone at our office has tried to find ways to adopt him, but either already have multiple dogs or are not in a situation that would be in the best interest of him.
We don't want to take him to a shelter and will not give him to anyone that will end up just giving him away "again". He deserves a happy life and a place to call a forever home. I only pray I can find the right person or family that can take him and love him...
If you would be a great candidate to provide this sweet dog a happy life, please message me. We do prefer someone that does not currently have another pet in the household and needs to be an indoor dog.
