PUYALLUP, WA — A young child was killed in a shooting in Puyallup Monday afternoon, according to several reports. The victim, a 3-year-old boy, was shot around 4 p.m. in the 10800 block of 58th Avenue Court East, KIRO reported. By the time deputies arrived at the home, it was empty— everyone inside had already rushed to nearby Maybridge Hospital to get the child urgent medical care. Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead not long after. The incident is still under investigation, and Pierce County Sheriff's Department has promised future updates as deputies learn more.
