Description
Hi! I’m trying to rehome my sweet bearded dragon, Mochi, by New Year’s Eve. She is about two years old and is one of the few reptiles I’ve had that actually enjoys attention. I’m heartbroken to have to part with her but I am moving into a place where I don’t have anywhere at all to put her or to accommodate her lighting safely.
Mochi’s full title is “Her Highness Mochi Countess of the Living Room” and she is about as regal and pampered as you can get! She loves to rub on satin and silk, and would love to sit on a soft blanket in your lap any day. She WILL give you the stink eye if you don’t give her enough attention. She likes to be talked to, even through her tank, and loves to watch videos on phones. Her favorite food is baby carrots, but only if they’re grated.
I was told when I got her that she had stunted growth but with a steady diet of bugs, greens, and veggies (especially carrots), she’s been doing fine.
I have a 45 gallon breeder tank for her, as well as a UVB light, heat lamp, and a timer. There is tile inside the tank, rocks, a hide, fake plants, etc. I have stick on tile (in the pattern of rocks) on it because Mochi gets stressed with more than one window out. I am asking a reasonable rehoming fee, mainly to cover some cost of the enclosure.
If you are interested in spoiling this princess of a lizard, please send me a text.
