Press release from City School District of Albany: December 21, 2021 All City School District of Albany schools will shift to distance learning Wednesday due to COVID-19 staffing challenges at First Student. Positive COVID-19 cases and related contacts in recent days have affected at least 21 First Student drivers and 12 additional employees for the bus company. Due to these staffing shortages, we are unable to provide an adequate and safe level of service for students Wednesday.  All district schools will be closed for the holiday break beginning Thursday until we return on Monday, Jan. 3. We apologize for this inconvenience and appreciate your support as we respond to the ongoing challenges of the pandemic.  Also a reminder that our student username change was completed on Monday, and students should be logging in with their new username.
