JEFFERSON, LA - Residents in Unincorporated Jefferson Parish and the Town of Jean Lafitte should place trees curbside on the evening of Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2021. Christmas trees will be collected curbside on Thursday, Jan. 6, 2022, Friday, Jan. 7, 2022 and Saturday, Jan. 8, 2022.
Trees must meet the following guidelines in order to be recycled:
The trees will be recycled in an effort to fight coastal erosion, which protects Jefferson Parish's unique ecosystem including wildlife and wetlands.
