OAK LAWN, IL — Oak Lawn police have released surveillance photos of suspects believed to be involved in three smash-and-grab burglaries that happened early Monday morning. The burglaries happened in the 9600 and 10300 blocks of South Cicero Avenue. Police said the suspects used landscape bricks to break the windows and enter four businesses. The suspects were using a stolen white Kia sedan. Similar burglaries have occurred in the area. During the overnight hours of Dec. 16, a burglar was captured on video busting the front window of a jewelry store at 129th Street and LaGrange Road in Palos Park. Police said a young male grabbed costume jewelry. The suspects were driving a burnt orange Dodge Charger.
